IT AIN’T EASY BEING CHOOSY, SO WE RESEARCHED ALL 10 NJ SPORTSBOOKS FOR YOU
In prep for the 2019 soccer season, all 10 of New Jersey sportsbooks and I visited to examine what’s in store for NJ pro and college football bettors.
In the Meadowlands close to the New York boundary to Ocean Casino in the northern tip of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, I’ve visited them all. And as the comforts are quite consistent, each sportsbook does things only a tiny bit differently.
Whether it’s something else, the chairs, the food accessibility, the tellers, or the size, no one sportsbook is just like another. As who does not like variety that’s a fantastic thing for New Jersey bettors. But it’s also a terrible thing because how do you determine where to watch the match this weekend?
With all the college football season??rolling and up and Week 3 of the NFL season kicking off on Thursday, here is my recap of the best sportsbook amenities (together with runners-up) to help direct you as to where to spend your Saturdays and Sundays this fall.
Just do not forget that the best sportsbooks at New Jersey rely on which factors matter to you .
Notice: You can read all of 10 full reviews of New Jersey’s sportsbooks below:
Winner: The Book at Bally’s
Runner-up: William Hill Sportsbook at Ocean Casino
These two books show the Vegas-style sportsbook in Atlantic City. Nevertheless, in regards to the best of the best, the sportsbook of the brand new Bally offers displays in a sportsbook setting that is lavish. It has the capability to transform numerous matches to be shown by those giant screens and also an overwhelming wow factor.
William Hill at the design of Ocean offers a complete perspective of large screens. In case Bally’s is busy, it is a plan B.
Winner: The Novel at Harrah’s
Runners-up: William Hill in Ocean and The Book at Bally’s
You would think the boys in AC would be the winners here but no dice.
Harrah’s features comfort with 50 leather chairs in its area. A quiet area with comfy leather chairs… what’s not to enjoy?
However, I have to give mention to the sportsbook, which includes a mix of leather chairs and couches of Ocean, and Bally’s, that will almost everything.
Winner: FanDuel at the Meadowlands
Runners-up: William Hill at Tropicana at William Hill and Ocean’s
There is never a shortage of live tellers at FanDuel Sportsbook’s retail area near New York City with 20+ positions available. Being so close to the city, the amount of tellers is probably a must for all those sport days.
Both William Hill places in Atlantic City have multiple teller positions, too, with plenty of space to queue up while in line.
Winner: DraftKings in Resorts AC
Runner-up: FanDuel in the Meadowlands
The dream sports leaders who rule as sportsbook operators dominate this class. DraftKings has 18 terminals and FanDuel has 17 kiosks. Those amounts are now unmatched in New Jersey.
So if self-betting is your thing, look betting market.
Winner: The Novel at Bally’s
Runner-up: Moneyline Bar & Book in Borgata
The Book at Bally’s includes a menu with food and beverage options. The Borgata sportsbook features a upscale restaurant as an essential portion of the sportsbook design.
This category might best underline the amount . You may either reserve your seat at Bally’s and order. Or you can watch and wager on the game.
Winner: Moneyline at Borgata
Runner-up: William Hill at Ocean Casino
The bar in the Borgata is at the middle of all the action. That is why it’s the winner in this class. It is both eye catching and perfectly located to be within reach once the game ends on a high note for the bet (or your fellow fans).
The rectangular bar at William Hill in Ocean is adjoining to the sportsbook area and is topped off with scrolling data screens and LED chances. So that it deserves a mention here.
Winner: The Book at Bally’s
Runner-up: William Hill in Ocean
So was there any doubt that it could be the best dog in this category bally’s AC sportsbook features seating for 280 with plenty of additional space for standing-room capacity? It’s also bigger than all other Atlantic City sportsbooks with a mile.
Ocean has more than 130 chairs with loads of places to move the book to get to another area of the casino, or into the tellers, the pub around. Being at the middle of the casino floor surely helps, also.
FanDuel’s space is divided into three sections, although I might have mentioned Fanduel at the Meadowlands, that is big. Bally’s and Ocean Casino sportsbooks are space.
Winner: Golden Nugget
Runner-up: Harrah’s
Both novels mentioned above do their best to work together with the space they’ve been allotted. Golden Nugget sportsbook has shut quarters but has that”Mega Fan Cave” feel to it using wall-mounted TV screens on almost every foot of the room.
Harrah’s has fewer TV screens out there in their primary viewing area, however the 50 overstuffed armchairs result in a pleasing sportsbook experience.
Winner: The Novel at Bally’s
The Novel at Bally’s is the runaway winner in this category; there is no runner-up.
From five personal fan cave segments (every holding to 16-24 individuals ) to six VIP segments situated toward the rear of the open segment of this book, there are loads of options for you to lock down their game-day encounter.
To top it off, everything is reservable online, together with the general seating places. Is a minimal spend vs a room or bench leasing fee.
Winner: FanDuel in Monmouth at the Meadowlands and William Hill
Runner-up: Borgata Atlantic City
If you’re wanting to distribute your action or need to fire $$ on each race and game that takes place, both the Meadowlands (FanDuel) and Monmouth Park (William Hill) provide live horse races, simulcasts of out of state races, in addition to sports betting. It’s a terrific combo.
Borgata AC is the only location in Atlantic City and has a racing book/simulcast theater where you can bet the ponies. The Sports & Race Book is alongside the Moneyline sportsbook.
Winner: Golden Nugget
Runner-up: Borgata
Golden Nugget is the only casino with a sportsbook that provides free self-parking. That’s more cash in your pocket to get betting, eating, and enjoying the game (or casino).
The luxury Borgata does maintain their self-pricing fair at $5. Worth mentioning here, however that is not totally free, now is it?
One top idea would be to get a player’s card as most resort’s whenever you’re a member of the casino, offer some kind of parking reductions.
There are several possibilities for New Jersey soccer bettors because there is something out there for everybody.
Needless to say, you could take the approach of finding which books provide the best odds and pricing but that is a day-by-day approach. Prices and the chances across the country will change on a daily, even hourly basis.
However, if your purpose is to sit back, relax, place a wager, and revel in the game, there are a number of amenities at NJ retail sportsbooks. And there is that extra benefit of having the ability to bet on among 17 NJ sports gambling apps while you are served a meal and your favourite beverage.
Here’s to a good NFL season, also for the interest of Jersey, we can only hope to dream about a Eagles-Jets or Giants-Jets Super Bowl come.
