On the rail – $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl over sold months in advance

It has become a tradition with having a Super High Roller Bowl prior to the World Series of Poker, starting in 2015 which saw Brian Rast come out as the winner for $8,000,000 and last year when Rainer Kempe came out victorious for a cool $5,000,000.
The tournament has been given a cap of 50 entrants, of which 15 seats have been reserved to celebrities, businessmen and qualifiers. That means that the Aria had 35 seats open for pre-registration for everyone who had $300,000 lying around. In fact for the short period the registration was open a staggering 54 entrants had registered for the 35 seats.
To decide who got the seats they had to arrange a lottery draw to see who got to play this rake free prestigious tournament.
The lottery was conducted by no other than Daniel Negreanu, who actually was one of those unlucky enough to not get a seat.
The list of the players who won the draw:
Christian Christner | Dominik Nitsche | Igor Kurganov | Bryn Kenney | Connor Drinan |
