High Stakes Pro Will Try To Eat $1k McDonald’s Food In 36 Hours

The poker pros are known for their crazy prop bets. The latest challenge involves Mike Noori who has to eat $1,000 in McDonald’s food within 36 hours! He’s getting odds of 5-1 from Poker Hall of Fame nominee Matt Savage. According to Noori, there’s $200,000 on the line and he got some backers. The challenge will start on 19th at an Arizona McDonalds’ venue. This leaves out the opportunity to fly to countries where the prices are higher, like Norway, for example.
What Can $1k Buy You At McDonald’s?
A quick estimation shows that Noori will have to eat about 70,000 calories in 36 hours which seems impossible. There are certain rules of the wager that Mike has to follow:
- $200 is the maximum he can spend on salads
- $300 is the minimum he must spend on hot foods and at least $50 of them should be on burgers
- Drinks don’t count
- Puking is allowed, but not if it’s forced
- Everything ordered must be eaten
- No blenders are allowed
Noori has a plan and believes he can do the job with the right execution. He will start by eating $500 in apple slices. What he does later on remains to be seen, but he will have those $200 on salads for tough times and the mandatory $300 on wings, burgers and fries.
What Are The Expectations?
Considering the sheer number of calories, it’s a mission impossible for Noori. Celebrity player Dan Blizerian’s twitter poll shows that just under 2/3 of the people think this can’t be done. Still, 37% believe that Noori is up for the task. I guess we’re about to find out in a week or so and hope Mike Noori doesn’t end up in the hospital.
